BEEF ROULADEN 
Round steak

Sliced as thin as possible (like breakfast steak).

Mix: Chopped onions Cut up bacon

Flatten out steak, add salt and pepper and very little mustard on each slice. Place bread crumb mixture on steak. Roll up starting at narrow end. Fasten with wooden toothpicks or skewers. Brown on all sides. Add water to large pot or Dutch oven and simmer steak for 1 to 2 hours or until tender. Remove Rouladen and make gravy by adding cornstarch to liquid. Good with potatoes and green vegetables.
