1 1/2 c. pancake mix
1 c. coarsely chopped apples
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 to 2 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. melted butter or oil

Combine pancake mix, apples, cinnamon and sugar. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bake on hot greased griddle until bubbles break on surface. Turn and bake until golden brown. Serve with creamy syrup.

CREAMY SYRUP:

3/4 c. maple syrup
1/4 c. half & half
1 tsp. butter
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Combine maple syrup, half & half, and batter in saucepan, cook to boiling. Remove from heat; add vanilla. Serves 4.
