MICROWAVE PECAN BRITTLE | |
1 c. sugar 1/2 c. light corn syrup 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. raw pecan halves 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. butter 1 tsp. baking soda, sifted In a 2 quart glass dish or bowl, combine sugar, syrup, and salt. Cover and microwave on high for 4 minutes. Add pecans, stir; cover and microwave on high for 4 minutes. Stir in vanilla and butter. Add baking soda and stir quickly. Pour onto greased cookie sheet and spread evenly. Allow to cool, then break into pieces. |
