POLKA DOT CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. hamburger 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 12 oz. can Mexicorn 1/2 onion, chopped 1 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 or 3 c. mashed potatoes 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese Brown hamburger and drain. Add all ingredients but potatoes and cheese. Simmer 10 minutes. Put in 9 x 9 pan. Top with a layer of mashed potato. Sprinkle with cheese. Put in oven at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until completely heated. Cheese should be added 5 minutes before end of cooking time. |
