POPPY SEED POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. poppy seed
1 c. buttermilk
6 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. butter flavor

Cream thoroughly sugar and butter. Add baking soda and poppy seeds to buttermilk. Set aside. Add eggs one at a time to the sugar mixture and beat thoroughly after each addition. Add flour alternately with milk mixture adding flour first and last beating thoroughly after each addition. Pour onto one large tube pan or two loaf pans which have been grease and floured. Bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees. Pour glaze over cake while hot.

GLAZE:

2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. orange juice
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. butter flavoring
1/4 c. lemon juice

Mix well and spoon over hot cake.
