HEAVENLY POPPY SEED CAKE 
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. oil
2 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seed
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring, optional

Combine all cake ingredients and beat 2 minutes on high. Pour into greased and floured bundt pan or 2 loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove and glaze immediately. Freezes very well.

GLAZE:

1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. orange juice
3/4 c. sugar

Combine all cake ingredients and beat 2 minutes on high. Pour into greased and floured bundt pan or 2 loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Let cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove and glaze immediately freezes very well.

Glaze: heat and mix until sugar is dissolved. Pour over cake.
