2 c. cold water
1/4 c. cornstarch
Poster paint powders

Blend water and cornstarch in a saucepan. Bring to a boil stirring and cook until mixture is a little thinner than final paint should be. Pour into 5 cups and sprinkle a little poster paint powder into each cup, making 5 colors. Makes enough for 4 children. Use on high gloss paper and have lots of paper towels, pans of water and sponges handy. Don't forget to put smocks on children, perhaps a man's shirt buttoned down back with collar cut off or tucked in.
