VANILLA:

1 c. white sugar
4 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. milk

Stir and boil for 1 full minute; remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Cool slightly (sitting in cold water), then beat with a spoon until ready to spread on cake.

CHOCOLATE:

Add 1 tablespoon cocoa to sugar

BROWN SUGAR:

1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
