BEEF STEW 
1 lb beef stew meat
1 package Lipton Onion Soup
carrot, celery chunks, potato halves
2 tsp. Minute Tapioca
1 scant tsp. sugar
1 cup tomato juice

Fry meat until browned; do not season. Add a little water and remaining ingredients. Stir and place in heavy casserole or Dutch oven.

Bake for 4 to 5 hours at 250°F.
