WILBURN'S BEEF STEW | |
1 to 1 1/2 lbs stew beef 1 qt. (4 cups) water 6 to 8 potatoes 1 large onion 3 stalks celery 3 to 4 carrots 1 small can (15 oz) diced tomatoes 1 tsp. black pepper 1 tsp. salt Brown beef well, add water and simmer for 1 hour. Add tomatoes, simmer 30 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer an additional 30 to 45 minutes. That's it! Eat with cornbread. Submitted by: Mike Wilburn |
