TANGY KRAUT BURGERS | |
1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 (8 oz.) can sauerkraut, drained and snipped (can be done in food processor) 1/4 c. Italian salad dressing 1 tbsp. instant minced onion 1/2 tsp. caraway seed 1/4 tsp. salt 6 hamburger buns, split and toasted Combine ground beef, sauerkraut, Italian dressing, onion, caraway seed and salt. Shape into 6 patties about 3/4 inch thick. Grill for 6 minutes. Turn patties and grill 6-8 minutes longer. Serve in a toasted hamburger bun. Top burgers with additional hot sauerkraut, if desired. Makes 6 sandwiches. |
