OYSTER FRY 
1 qt. shucked oysters
Salt and pepper
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tbsp. milk
1 c. crumbs, bread or crackers
Cooking oil
Butter

Drain the oysters, pat them dry with paper towel, season with salt and pepper. Mix the eggs and milk and dip the oysters into egg mixture and roll in crumbs. Fry in 50-50 mixture of oil and butter for about 5 minutes or until golden brown on both sides. 4-6 servings.
