OKRA AND TOMATOES 
2 lbs. okra
2 link sausage
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes or 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 pkgs. dried shrimp
1 sm. onion
1 can whole kernel corn

Cut okra in small sections. Place in skillet and fry with about 1/4 cup shortening. Add one small onion (chopped fine) and salt and pepper to taste. Fry until okra is no longer slick. Add thinly sliced sausage and dried shrimp. Add tomatoes or tomato sauce and corn (drained). Cook about 5 minutes.
