CABBAGE BURGER BAKE 
1 sm. cabbage
6 slices bacon
1/2 c. onion
1 c. uncooked long grain rice
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
15 oz. spaghetti sauce
3 c. water

Shred cabbage (8 cups). Spread 4 cups cabbage in greased baking dish. Cook bacon 3/4 done. Remove, drain on towel. Stir onion and the rice in the drippings from bacon. Cook, stirring constantly, until onion is soft and rice is brown. Spoon over cabbage. Fry meat until done and chop it up. Spoon over rice mixture. Salt and pepper it.

Put on remaining cabbage. Heat spaghetti sauce with water until boiling. Pour over cabbage. Top with bacon. Cover. Bake at 400 degrees for 50 minutes, uncover 10 minutes.
