MEATBALL STEW 
1 lb. ground meat
3 tbsp. A-1 steak sauce
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. soft bread crumbs
2 tbsp. minced fresh onion
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

STEW:

2 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. flour
3 bouillon cubes, dissolved in 3 c. boiling water
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. A-1 steak sauce
1/2 tsp. thyme & pepper
1 bay leaf
4 carrots
4 med. potatoes, cut in half, sliced
4 sm. onions, cut in half
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen peas

1. With meatball mixture form 24 balls.

2. Brown in oil.

3. Remove meatballs, reserve 2 tablespoons drippings.

4. Add flour, cook stirring constantly over medium heat for 2 minutes.

5. Add remaining ingredients (except peas).

6. Add meatballs, simmer covered for 25 minutes. Stir n peas. Simmer covered 5-7 minutes more.
