BEST LEMON PIE 
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
Yolk of 3 eggs
1 1/2 or 2 lemons
1 1/2 c. boiling water

Cook in double boiler or over low heat until thick enough to hold shape when cool.

CRUST:

1/4 c. water
1 c. flour
1/2 c. Crisco

Beat egg whites for meringue. Makes one 9 inch lemon pie.
