PLAINS, GEORGIA, PEANUT BUTTER
BREAD
 
1 c. crunchy peanut butter
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder

Sift flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Add crunchy peanut butter and work into dry ingredients. Add 1 egg, beaten with milk. Mix gently, being careful not to beat. Pour into small, greased and floured loaf pan and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Top will crack open. Serve with more peanut butter, if desired.
