BARBECUED BEEF 
1 lb. beef, cut into 1/2 inch cubes (more meat can be used)
1 tbsp. fat
1 1/2 c. water
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 c. diced celery
1/3 c. diced green pepper
1 c. catsup
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
Little pepper

Brown beef in hot fat; add water and simmer in covered skillet 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Cook onion, celery, and green pepper in fat until tender; add to the meat and remaining ingredients. Simmer uncovered 20-30 minutes. Can be served on buns or with baked potatoes.
