ITALIAN MEAT PIE (PIZZA DOUGH)
2 pre-made pizza dough balls (18 to 20 oz. each)
2 lbs. ground beef
1/4 cup green peppers
1/4 cup chopped onions
1/2 tbsp. of each Italian seasonings (basil, parsley etc.)
salt and pepper
1/4 lb. of each, assorted Italian cold cuts
Provolone, Mozzarella, Parmesan cheese if desired
garlic powder for flavored crust
2 cloves minced garlic
olive oil for cooking and brushing dough

Let dough thaw if frozen and rise before starting.

Cook beef and stir in peppers, onions and seasonings. Preheat oven to 375°F. Roll out dough for bottom and place on/in pizza pan (a deep dish pan is better if available). Add meat mixture (1/2 if using cheese). Add other 1/2 of meat mixture on top of cheese. Place top dough on top of mixture.

Cover with your choice of Italian cold cuts. Brush edges with oil to make it sticky so it will seal. Press edges together and roll over if needed. Pinch hole in middle for steam vent.

Bake about 15 minutes until slightly browned (or golden brown). Brush with oil and dust with garlic powder and Parmesan cheese. Continue until garlic and Parmesan is toasted. Cut as desired, 6 or 8 slices.
