CABBAGE PATTIES 
3 c. boiled cabbage
5 eggs
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 green onion, chopped
1/2 c. shortening
Salt & pepper to taste

Boil cabbage and drain. In large bowl, mix eggs and flour. Add cabbage, green onions, salt and pepper. Mix well. Heat shortening in heavy skillet. Drop by spoonsful and fry on both sides.
