SWEET-N-SOUR CHICKEN | |
1. 4-6 skinned and boned breast meat 2. 3 carrots 3. 1 onion 4. 1 green pepper 5. Soy sauce 6. Kikkoman Sweet-n-Sour sauce 7. Pineapple slices in heavy syrup 8. 1 tbsp. oil 1. Cut chicken into chunks. 2. Cut carrots into diagonal slices. 3. Cut green pepper in chunks. 4. Cut onion in 1/4 slices. Set aside vegetables. 5. In a wok put oil into bottom on high heat. 6. Cook chicken chunks until pink color is gone. 7. Add soy sauce - to flavor - approximately 2-3 tablespoons. 8. Simmer approximately 5-10 minutes. 9. Add remaining vegetables. 10. Simmer 10 minutes. 11. Add sweet sour sauce and simmer stirring occasionally for about 30-35 minutes or until chicken is tender. 12. Add pineapple chunks - simmer 2-3 minutes. Serve over white rice. |
