CHICKEN SNOW PEAS 
6 tbsp. oil
Green onions, 1 inch pieces
8 oz. bamboo shoots
2 tbsp. cornstarch and water
1 tbsp. cooking sherry
Garlic
Salt and pepper
1 lb. chicken
1 pkg. snow peas
8 oz. water chestnuts, sliced
4 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. sugar
Ginger root

Combine cornstarch, water, soy sauce, sherry, sugar and seasonings. Heat oil, add chicken and onions. Cook until done. Add pea pods and soy sauce mixture. Heat until sauce thickens, serve over rice.
