ANCHOVY SAUCE 
1 can puree
1 can anchovies in oil
2 cloves garlic, cut
Salt and pepper to taste
Linguini
Fine bread crumbs

Lightly brown garlic in oil. Add anchovy and cook until they "melt". Add puree and seasonings. Add water, if needed to be thinned. Cook about 3/4 hour. Cook linguini al dente; drain. Add sauce and toss. Serve with bread crumbs which have been toasted in a frying pan with a little oil. Don't burn. Sprinkle crumbs on top of pasta and enjoy.
