3 c. sugar
1 c. water
Dash of salt
1 1/2 lbs. raw peanuts
1 c. white Karo
10-12 drops red food coloring
1/4 c. butter

Bring sugar, water and Karo to a boil. Add food coloring and peanuts. Cook to hard ball stage. Add butter and beat. Drop by greased cookie sheet.
