3 c. sugar
3 c. Karo syrup
1/4 c. water
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. red food coloring
2 c. peanuts

Mix together sugar, syrup and water. Cook to a soft boil. Add 1 stick butter, vanilla and food coloring. Stir and beat until creamy. Stir in peanuts. Pour into aluminum pie plates. This makes approximately 5 large patties.
