1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Karo
1/2 c. water
12 oz. pkg. raw peanuts
1/4 stick of butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Red food coloring

Mix first 3 ingredients together and cook until boiling. Add peanuts and cook until mixture forms soft ball. Set off stove and add remaining ingredients. Beat until thick and then pour on waxed paper to cool.
