ICE BOX PUDDING 
1 1/2 bars German sweet chocolate
2 tbsp. boiling water
4 eggs (separate yolks from whites), well beaten
2 heaping tbsp. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 angel food cake

Line bread pan with wax paper and lay thin slices of angel food cake on bottom and along the sides and ends.

Melt chocolate in double boiler. Add boiling water, remove from heat. Add the egg yolks, one at a time, beat well. Add 2 tablespoons powdered sugar and vanilla. Last, add the well-beaten egg whites. Pour the chocolate mixture into bread pan, lined with cake. Add more thin slices on top and cover. Refrigerate overnight.
