2 1/4 c. flour
1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg yolk
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, butter, and shortening. Add egg, vanilla, salt, and flour. Roll out dough small amounts at a time. Cut with cutters. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
