PEACH CAKE (German) 
7 oz. butter (unsalted)
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 lg. can peaches (halves)

Beat butter until foamy. Add sugar, vanilla extract and eggs one by one. Mix baking powder with flour and add to egg mixture.

Pour dough into greased 10 inch springform cake pan. Arrange drained peach halves on top and bake at 350 to 375 degrees for approximately 60 minutes. Cool. Remove from pan and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
