CHEESE CAKE I 
6 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs, pack in bottom of spring-form pan
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
5 eggs
2 c. sour cream (16 oz.)
1 tsp. vanilla

Mash cream cheese. Add sugar and blend. Add egg yolks, vanilla, lemon juice, and sour cream. Fold in egg whites (that have been beaten stiff). Pour entire ingredients in pan over crust. Bake 1 hour at 300 degrees. Turn oven off 1 hour; leave pie in oven. Open door 1/2 hour. Cherries, etc. optional.
