SALMON CASSEROLE | |
1 (15 oz.) can salmon, drained and taken apart 1 (12 oz.) can milk 2 tbsp. flour 2 tbsp. butter 1/2 - 3/4 lb. fresh broccoli 1/2 - 3/4 lb. fresh cauliflower 3 c. cooked rice 2 c. grated cheese Cook broccoli and cauliflower; drain. Make white sauce by melting butter, then add flour and stir. Gradually add can of milk. Cook a few minutes until thickens a little. (Be sure you use a large pan or bowl to mix.) Add cooked broccoli and cauliflower; stir. Then add cooked rice, salmon and 1 cup cheese. Put into oven safe casserole dish and put remaining cheese on top. Cook in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until cheese is browned on top. |
