KATHY'S PUMPKIN CAKE 
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. pumpkin

Beat eggs and sugar until well blended. Add soft butter. Add dry ingredients. Add pumpkin. Pour into greased tube pan. Bake 55 minutes at 350 degrees. Let stand for 10 minutes before removing from pan.

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:

1 (3 oz.) cream cheese
1/2 c. butter
1 lb. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Frost cool cake and top with pecans.
