BAKED BEEF STEW | |
2 lbs. stewing beef 1 c. chopped celery 6 carrots, sliced 1 lg. onion, diced 3 to 4 med. potatoes, diced Place the above in a large, deep casserole dish in the order given. Pour 1/2 cup tomato juice over contents. Then sprinkle 2 teaspoons salt, 1 tablespoon sugar, 2 tablespoons instant tapioca over all. Cover, place in oven and bake 3 hours at 325 degrees. |
