PUMPKIN PATCH COOKIES 
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. butter
1/4 tsp. orange paste food coloring
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. creamy chocolate frosting
18 green jelly beans, cut crosswise in half

In a medium mixing bowl, stir together flour and baking powder; set aside. In a large mixer bowl, beat butter and food coloring with an electric mixer on medium speed until butter is softened and food coloring is blended in (about 30 seconds). Add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, beat well. Stir in flour mixture. Do not chill dough. Put the flower plate onto a cookie press. Pack dough into press, 1/2 dough at a time. Press dough into flowers on ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake at 400 degrees for 7-8 minutes or until cookies are just lightly brown around edges. Remove cookies to a wire rack and cool completely. Spread the flat side of half the cookies with frosting. Top with remaining cookies to form pumpkins.

For stems, attach one jelly bean half to top of cookies with frosting. Let stand for 1-2 hours or until frosting is slightly dry.
