LAYERED GREEN SALAD 
1 head lettuce, cut up
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. green onions, chopped
1/2 c. green peppers, chopped
1/2 c. carrots, grated
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
1 pt. Hellmann's mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sugar
8 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
10 strips bacon, diced and fried crisp

Place lettuce in bottom of large casserole or 9x13 inch pan. Layer the celery, onions, peppers, carrots, frozen peas, mayonnaise and sugar over lettuce. Top with grated cheese and bacon. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours before serving. 24 servings.

NOTE: Do not cook peas.
