MEATY SPAGHETTI SAUCE | |
2 lbs. lean ground beef 2 med. onions, diced 1 green pepper, diced 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste 2 (29 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 c. burgundy wine 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper 1 tsp. oregano 2 bay leaves Brown ground beef with onions, green pepper and garlic. Cook until vegetables are tender. Drain. Add paste, sauce, wine and seasonings. Simmer 4 hours. Yield: 2 quarts. |
