GREAT - GRANDMA BECKY'S HANUKKAH
COOKIES
 
2 sticks butter
1 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs
1 tbsp. ice water
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
3 1/4 c. flour
Sprinkles (rainbow or chocolate)

Mix butter, sugar, eggs, water and vanilla in electric mixer. Add baking powder and flour gradually, mixing with wooden spoon. Refrigerate for 6 to 8 hours. Divide into 2 balls, place on floured board and roll out each 1/2 until 1/8 inch thick. Cut out with cookie cutters in appropriate shapes. Sprinkle with sprinkles and bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Cookies can be stored for up to one month.
