1 1/4 c. butter
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts

Mix sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla and milk. Add flour, soda, and baking powder. Beat until smooth, add oatmeal (raisins and nuts optional). Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
