PEACH BREAD | |
2 c. flour 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed 1/8 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 3 c. very ripe crushed peaches 1 lg. egg, slightly beaten 2 tbsp. butter, melted 1/2 c. raisins or nuts Mix flour, sugars, salt and soda. Drain mashed peaches. Add beaten egg and melted butter. Stir in raisins or nuts. Stir in flour mixture. Pour into 9 x 5 inch greased floured pan. Let stand 20 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes. Freezes beautifully. |
