BAKED SPICED CHICKEN 
1 sm. clove crushed garlic
1/2 tsp. ground cardamom
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 c. vermouth
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 cut up chicken

Combine vermouth, garlic, spices. Place chicken in shallow dish, cover with wine mixture and marinate overnight. Place in pan. Spoon 1/2 marinade on top. Bake 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Baste occasionally.

Spoon hot marinade over chicken to serve.
