INDIAN MAIZE PANCAKES 
1 can (7 oz.) whole kernel corn
1 egg
2 tbsp. shortening
1 1/4 c. buttermilk or milk
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix all dry ingredients in bowl. In another bowl mix liquid ingredients. Add dry ingredients a little at a time to liquid. Then make your own pancakes. Cook until golden brown.
