FRUIT CAKE 
1/2 lb. candied pineapple
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1 qt. pecan pieces
1 stick butter
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix butter and sugar well together. Add eggs, one at a time, beat well. Add vanilla. Mix fruit, nuts and flour well together. Then mix with batter. Pour into tube cake pan. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
