CARAMEL CORN 
1 bag puff corn or 1/2 brown paper bag regular popcorn
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Bring butter, sugar and syrup to a boil, boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in salt and soda. Pour over popcorn in a paper bag. Put bag in microwave on high for 1 minute. Remove and shake. Place in microwave 1 more minute. Remove and shake. Nuts optional.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
