NUT COOKIES (DIOS KIFLI) 
1/2 lb. butter, must be butter!
2 c. flour
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. finely chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Crumble butter and flour together like pie crust until well mixed. Add sugar, vanilla, and nuts and mix well. If too dry add a drop or tow of milk so it sticks together. Drop by small spoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10-15 minutes or until very light brown. Remove from oven and when slightly cooled sprinkle with powdered sugar to cover.
