NORWEGIAN FLATBREAD 
1 c. buttermilk or sour milk
1 c. lukewarm water
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. melted shortening
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. graham flour
3 1/2 c. white flour (1/2 c. cornmeal may replace 1/2 c. white flour)

The following dough is rolled thin. Dissolve soda in warm water and add to liquid ingredients. Combine with dry ingredients and bake on cookie sheets in a 375 oven for 7 to 10 minutes.
