HAMBURGER CORN PONE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/3 c. chopped onions
1 tbsp. shortening
2 tsp. chili powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 can tomatoes
1 c. red beans
1 c. cornbread mix

Brown meat and onions; add seasoning and tomatoes and simmer for 15 minutes. Add beans. Pour into greased casserole dish. Top with cornbread mixture. Spread with wet knife. Bake at 425 degrees for about 20 minutes.
