STUFFED CABBAGE 
cabbage
2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. rice
1 egg
onion
salt and pepper
3 pieces bacon
1 can tomatoes or tomato soup
1 can sauerkraut

Boil rice and rinse with cold water. Mix meat, egg, onion, salt and pepper. Boil cabbage leaves 1 minute and stuff with meat filling and roll. Render 3 pieces of bacon in pan. Add in tomatoes and sauerkraut. Put into large saucepan and add cabbage rolls. Cook slowly for 2 hours. Add more tomato soup if necessary.
