IRISH BANNOCK 
8 oz. whole meal flour
4 oz. plain flour
Buttermilk
1 level tsp. bicarb soda
1 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients above except buttermilk. Make a well in the mixture and stir in buttermilk until dough is firm. Put on a board, spread with flour, and turn again. Put into a greased tin and bake in a moderate oven for 45 minutes.
