OZARK HAM CASSEROLE 
2 c. green beans (fresh, canned or frozen)
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1 c. thin cream or canned milk
1 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 c. diced cooked ham
1/3 c. diced pimento
2/3 c. grated cheese, mild or Cheddar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook beans until tender in small amount of water. Drain. Lightly brown mushrooms in butter, but reserve a few. Blend flour into butter and mushrooms. Add cream, milk and seasonings. Cook until thickened and smooth, stirring constantly. Fold into buttered 2 quart casserole. Top with mushrooms that have been reserved from the first part, and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Bake 20 minutes or until brown. Serves 6-8. Can be made ahead of time and put in refrigerator.
