MEXICAN CORN BREAD 
1 1/2 c. self rising corn meal
1 c. buttermilk
2/3 c. oil
2 eggs, beaten
1 sm. can cream style corn
1 sm. can jalapeno peppers, drained & chopped
1/2 sm. green or red pepper, chopped
1 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese

Mix in order listed. Save some cheese to sprinkle on top of mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes in cast iron frying pan in oven. Put oil in pan (1 to 2 tablespoons) and heat in oven. Put ingredients in when pan is HOT.
